In the fast growing city of Yellowknife, there's a place that you can call Home. From three locations, Midwest Property Management offers a range of possibilities in the heart of downtown Yellowknife. Consider one of our fully furnished suites, or choose from a selection of modern unfurnished apartments. One and two three bedroom units are available close to all the amenities. In this position, you will be based out of the Fraser, but responsible for the successful site management of all 3 properties totaling 228 units.
This position is based in administration, customer service, and manual work of considerable variety. An incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: showing and leasing suites, collecting rent, administration of the tenancies, banking, reporting, purchasing procedures, supervising the work of cleaners, maintenance workers and contractors, coordinating renovations, and ensuring contractors adhere to timeliness. This position reports to the Property Manager.
Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm and as required on weekends at month end. These hours may be subject to change.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated exceptional customer service in their current position. As well, possess thorough knowledge of Acts, laws and legislation as it pertains to residential property management and have a working knowledge of the variety of building maintenance trades and standards. At least 2 years of Residential Property Management experience is necessary, along with above-average computer competency. Prior experience managing staff is also required. Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
